Predefined e-NVH simulation workflows


Manatee pre-defined simulation workflows automatically combines the modelling levels which are the most adapted to the V-model development cycle stage of a given electrical machine, from early e-motor basic design phase to system-level detailed design phase.

Simulation workflows can easily be filtered using the workflow viewer of Manatee based on available inputs (e.g. PWM strategy, 3D CAD model), user profiles (e.g. electrical engineer, mechanical engineer) or desired computing time Vs accuracy trade-off.

These simulation workflows have been designed combining the experience of EOMYS consulting team on more than 100 electrical machines, as well as the audit of electrical, mechanical and NVH test engineers involved in the everyday design of electrified systems.


Manatee e-NVH simulations can be launched in a few clicks compared to several hours of set-up in a general purpose FEA software. The different workflows are adapted to electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, acoustic engineers and NVH test engineers. These simulation workflows can be run sequentially or in parallel, allowing to speed-up the development cycle of electrified systems. For instance, magnetic forces calculations can be carried by electrical engineers, while unit-wave Frequency Response Functions calculations based on modal basis can be carried by mechanical engineers.
